Mr Jonathan O'Grady

Jonathan O'Grady serves as Public Voice on the NSAC and is an active advocate for individuals living with disabilities. Diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type II, he brings a personal and informed perspective to the challenges faced by those with neuromuscular conditions.

He is currently on the board of the Irish Wheelchair Association, serving in the role of Honorary President. Additionally, Mr O’Grady is a founding director of SMA Ireland, a patient representative group dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

In his professional life, Mr O’Grady has held several senior roles in the finance sector. He currently serves as a consultant to various businesses, advising on corporate strategy and data analytics. Mr O’Grady has an MA from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
