Thank you to everybody who participated in the public consultation on health and social care services and supports for older people which was conducted by the Department of Health on behalf of the Commission on Care.
2,815 responses were received to the consultation. The Institute of Public Health has been engaged by the Department of Health to analyse these responses and to prepare a report on their findings.
The report will enable the Commission to learn about the views of the public on the provision of health and social care services and supports for older people in Ireland. The views expressed will inform the Commission’s recommendations for the future development of these services and supports.
