Appointment to the Board of Beaumont Hospital - 4 October 2023

On the nomination by the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP), the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has appointed Dr John Latham as a member of the Beaumont Hospital Board with effect from 27 September 2023 until 16 April 2026.

Dr Latham was a GP in South Inner-City Dublin from 1984 until his retirement in 2019. He was a member of the Irish Medical Council Health Committee between 2008 and 2017, and was an Assistant Program Director in the North Dublin City GP Training Scheme from 2012 until 2019. Dr Latham was National Clinical Director of the Malaysia-Ireland Training Programme for Family Medicine (MInTFM) from 2020-2021.
