Appointment to the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (CORU)

On the nomination of the Occupational Therapists Registration Board, the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, has appointed the following person as a member of the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (CORU) with effect from 18 February 2021 to 08 May 2022:

Ms Genevieve O’Halloran

Ms O’Halloran is an Occupational Therapist Manager for the HSE Community Healthcare West. In her capacity as manager her responsibilities include managing the occupational therapy service in primary care and social care in Roscommon, working with staff to offer support and motivation, acting as a point of contact for staff and clients in relation to the occupational therapy services in Roscommon and ensuring that the service complies with statutory and mandatory requirements.

Ms O’Halloran also has experience working in the Senior Occupational Therapist Stroke Rehabilitation Team in Roscommon and worked for a number of years in St Vincent’s Care Centre and the South Westmeath Community Care. She has a Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Lean Healthcare.
