Oral Health Workforce Census

The Department of Health and Alpha Healthcare have launched the Oral Health Workforce Census.

The survey is the first part of a research process to gather information on the views and inputs of oral healthcare professionals and other sectoral stakeholders to inform the development of an oral healthcare workforce census and skills assessment, which will be conducted on a regular basis.

The aim is to gather feedback and information from the oral healthcare workforce, universities, registration bodies, and other groups/bodies, on the priority areas and essential information that should be included in a census and skills assessment.

Members of the oral healthcare workforce– including dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, dental technicians, orthodontic therapists - oral healthcare professional organisations and educational institutes are invited to take part in the survey to share their views and opinions.
