Re-appointment of Chairperson to the Board of the National Haemophilia Council.

The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly T.D., has re-appointed Brian Fitzgerald as Chairperson to the Board of the National Haemophilia Council from the 1st of August 2022 until the 31st July 2025.
Brian Fitzgerald
Mr. Brian Fitzgerald has been Chairperson of the National Haemophilia Council for the last 3 years. He has been Chief Executive Officer of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital since May 2022, and prior to this was Deputy CEO of Beacon Private Hospital. He was previously CEO and the Director of Finance of St. James’s Hospital (where he served in a number of different positions for almost twenty years). He is currently a Board Member of the Advisory Group Regional Health Authorities, the Patient Safety Advisory Council and St James's CBS Secondary School.
