Reappointment to National Paediatric Hospital Development Board - 25 March 2025

The Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill has reappointed Mr Michael Shelly as a member of the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board with effect from 20 February 2025 until 19 February 2030.

Michael Shelly is a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Director with 45 years’ experience in the construction Industry in Ireland and internationally. Michael qualified as an engineer from NUIG and then completed a M.Sc. in Engineering Structures in Trinity College. He spent most of his career with PM Group; the Irish based international Engineering and project management consultants.

He has worked as a project manager and project director on a variety of projects across many sectors and geographies. He has worked in many parts of the world and played a key role in the international development of PM Group. Michael was an Executive Director of PM Group for 18 years.
