Reappointment to St. James Hospital Board

Following the nomination by the Chair of the Hospital Board, the Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, has reappointed Ms Aideen Cardiff as a member of the Board of St James Hospital effect from the 30 August 2025 until 29 August 2031.
Ms Aideen Cardiff
Aideen is an experienced organisational leader, having successfully operated at executive level within three of the world leading technology companies, in a career spanning over 30 years. She holds a master’s in business from UCC, specialising in Strategy and Innovation, Organisational Development and in Strategic Leadership. She is a graduate of Sustainability Leadership programs from both Cambridge University and Trinity business school and holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance and Compliance.
Aideen currently chairs the board of the Irish charity, Work Equal and is a mentor for Sustainability leadership and a member of the advisory council at the IMI.
Aideen is a long-time advocate for inclusive leadership in business and led the DEI agenda for Microsoft Ireland. She is a co-founder of Jordisk, a sustainability consulting organisation, focused on leveraging CSRD for positive transformation.
