The Corporate Division is responsible for:
- the development of an effective Strategic HR management policy in order to ensure the development of an engaged, high performing workforce required to achieve the department's business objectives with a particular focus on organisational development, employee engagement and staff learning and development
- supporting the delivery of the department's obligations under the Civil Service Renewal Plan
- managing the corporate services and accommodation function of the department
- co-ordinating and developing internal ICT services, internal purchasing and procurement policy
- the provision of legal services to the Minister and the department
- managing the external communications function
- interacting with the Oireachtas and managing the Parliamentary, Freedom of Information and Records Management processes of the department
- developing the Governance Framework for the department
- compliance with the Lobbying Act and the Protected Disclosures Act
- business planning, risk management and Programme Management Office functions
The Division is also responsible for the department's interaction with ongoing Commissions of Investigation.
