This Statement of Strategy aims to strengthen regulation and governance of the health system, and has a stronger focus on evaluation and performance, reform of key contractual relationships, overseeing a range of priority service developments with the Health Service Executive and continuing to support the implementation of Government policy both in health care and in other sectors.
