Policy and Strategy Division

The Policy and Strategy Division is responsible for:

• particular whole-of-department pieces of work
• strategic policy direction to guide health reform work in the wider department, including in relation to the implementation of the Sláintecare Report
• policy support to sustain a community-rated Private Health Insurance market
• co-ordinating, supporting and quality assuring the overall policy and legislative output across the Department of Health, including outputs confined to particular care domains or functions, so as to ensure all work meets a defined standard and timetable
