Resources Division

The Resources Division is responsible for:

• the effective management of health service resources (current expenditure including pay, (pay rates, scales and staffing numbers), pensions and non-pay items) in line with the department's statutory responsibilities
• the Budget and Estimates Process
• operating the department’s financial and payment systems
• industrial relation issues relating to health service pay and conditions
• development and implementation of government policies on pay, pension, terms of employment and reforms in the public health service
• oversight of Pay and Numbers Strategy in the HSE
