In accordance with Section 27 of the Children First Act 2015, the Minister for Health has prepared a Children First Sectoral Implementation Plan which outlines how the department and the wider health sector comply with the Act and the Children First National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children.
In addition, the department has prepared a Child Safeguarding Statement in accordance with Section 11 of the Act.
