First Report of the Scoping Inquiry into the CervicalCheck Screening Programme

The terms of reference for the Scoping Inquiry announced on 8th May 2018 by the Minister of Health included a clause, (d), requireing an examination to be made of the information being provided to women who are having a cervical test.

The Inquiry is making steady progress on all its terms of reference; however, it is still in its early stages. Nonetheless, it has been possible to address this important element in the terms of reference and review the information provided to women participating in the screening programme.
