This role has responsibility at Assistant Secretary level to develop a strategic approach to the delivery of health infrastructure including ICT and digital health, implement a robust system for the appraisal, scrutiny and challenge of infrastructure proposals and the associated capital expenditure in line with the public spending code, ensure implementation of strong programme delivery systems to deliver the overall programme, forecasting and management of the capital funding allocated to the Health Capital programme under the multi annual NDP provision and the annual capital budget determined by Government. This role also oversees the Sláintecare Programme Office.
