Assistant Secretary, Resources

Responsible for the leadership of the Resources Division including to ensure that resources (current expenditure and posts) are secured, allocated, managed and utilised efficiently and effectively across the health service in line with health policy priorities, lead in the development and implementation of Government policies on health expenditure, pay, employment levels, pensions and terms of employment in the public health service, including value for money and efficiency considerations. Also responsible for oversight and development of the Irish health insurance policy and regulatory framework.
