Responsible for the development of Digital Health policy and the national Digital Health agenda with specific focus on enabling delivery of integrated care under the Slaintecare reform agenda through the implementation of electronic health records, health identifiers, ePharmacy and other strategic eHealth initiatives; At international level, represents the department on the EU eHealth Network and on the SNOMED General Assembly.
