Principal Officer, Governance & Risk

Responsibility at Principal level for leading the Department’s Governance and Risk function to further the Department’s achievement of its strategic objectives through: developing and leading the Department’s risk management process, developing and overseeing the implementation of the Department’s corporate governance framework and innovation policy; leading the development and implementation of a model for oversight of HSE governance; oversight of governance in the Department's aegis bodies and supporting relevant line units to ensure the Department fulfils its responsibilities under the Code of Governance for State Bodies; leading on the Department’s input into the annual National Risk Assessment process and the Department’s engagement with DPER on public service innovation.
