Principal Officer, Home Support / Older Persons Hub

Responsibility for: the introduction of a statutory scheme to support people to live in their own homes through access to regulated home care, including legislating for the licensing of home support providers, reforming the model of service delivery, policy on financing of home support and overseeing the recommendations of the Strategic Workforce Advisory Group; oversight of budgeting, performance and annual/winter planning for older persons services, including the HSE’s tender for home support services; coordination of parliamentary and regulatory requirements across Older Persons Units.
