Principal Officer, North-South, EU and International

Responsibility at Principal level for leading and effectively managing North-South, EU and International Unit in the promotion and protection of Ireland’s healthcare policy interests internationally; Working in partnership with policy units and agencies on key North-South, EU and international priorities; Supporting the Department’s prioritisation and strategic engagement with partner countries through the EU and the WHO. The Unit has an expanding programme of work corresponding with the growing international health agenda and is involved in the cross-departmental work to plan the design and implementation of Ireland’s Health Agenda for our term as the EU Presidency in 2026.
