Principal Officer, Oral Health Policy

Responsibility at Principal level for developing and overseeing implementation of policy regarding oral healthcare services, oral healthcare profession regulation, oral healthcare workforce planning, training and education. Contractual terms for Oral Healthcare Contractors; oversight and performance of public oral healthcare services; governance of the Dental Council including in accordance with the Dentists Act 1985; discharge of the Department’s responsibilities regarding the Dublin Dental University Hospital.
