Principal Officer, Research Services and Policy

Responsibility at Principal Officer level for leading the Irish Government Economic Evaluation Service (IGEES) staff in the Department of Health in support of evidence-based decision making. Advise on Department of Health implementation of the Public Spending Code, focusing on the achievement of value for money through efficient, effective and equitable investment in healthcare. Current areas of intensive focus include health service productivity, workforce planning and health service reform.
