Request an EU Digital COVID Certificate for vaccinations received outside the EU
You can request an EU Digital COVID Certificate for vaccinations received outside the EU if you hold a valid Irish passport and documentation confirming that you have been fully vaccinated in a non-EU country/state.
Note: Only vaccines authorised for use in Ireland can be recognised for the purpose of this service.
Request a certificate of recovery
If you have had a positive COVID-19 test (RT-PCR or ‘NAAT’) more than 11 days ago then you can request a certificate of recovery. Your certificate will remain valid for 180 days after the day you tested positive.
Once you fill out the details below, you will get your certificate by email within 5 days.
What to do before you travel
The Digital COVID Certificate is not a precondition for travel but it does make travelling within the EU easier. However, you will still need to adhere to the public health measures in place in the country you are travelling to. You can find details on these measures and entry requirements on the ReOpen EU website.
