Call for Submissions: Statement of Strategy 2023 - 2025

The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage is currently reviewing its Statement of Strategy for the period 2023 – 2025.

The department’s Statement of Strategy reflects the department’s commitments in the:

• Programme for Government – Our Shared Future
• Climate Action Plan
• National Planning Framework among others.

The Strategy Statement serves as a framework for the department’s work, structured around the department’s mission and six strategic goals. It provides information on how progress in achieving those goals will be monitored, by identifying measurable outputs, outcomes and performance indicators.

The Statement of Strategy 2023-2025 will be an opportunity to take into consideration both progress made and the evolving context of the past three years, to reflect and represent a more informed position for the period 2023-2025.

Submissions

The department is now inviting submissions in relation to its Strategy Statement. Please email your submission to strategy@housing.gov.ie

The closing date for receipt of submissions is 5pm, Friday 21 April 2023.

Respondents are advised that the department is subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2014, the European Communities (Access to Information on the Environment) Regulations 2007-2014, and Data Protection legislation.

With the exception of a name and address, personal, confidential or commercially sensitive information should not be included in your submission or observations and it will be presumed that all information contained in your submission is releasable under the Freedom of Information Act 2014.
