Why we are launching a public consultation

The first Strategy Statement for the National Parks and Wildlife Service will set out the core mission and values of the NPWS, together with our key strategic priorities as an organisation for 2023-2025.

We are seeking your views as to what our priorities should be, over the coming 3 years. What are the most important goals you think the NPWS should work toward over the period? Do you have good ideas as to how to reach those goals? How should we measure progress?

We want to hear from you.

How to get involved

There are 2 ways to have your say:

  • you can read the consultation document, and then complete a more detailed online questionnaire
  • if you prefer to email or post your responses to the consultation document, you can send them by email to: strategyconsultation@npws.gov.ie or post to: Strategy Consultation, National Parks and Wildlife Service, 90 North King Street, Dublin 7, D07 N7CV
