Housing Policy, Governance and Legislation Division

This Division is responsible for leading and overseeing the delivery of commitments in the Programme for Government in respect of:
- housing policy
- the rental sector
- the regulation of Approved Housing Bodies
- the built environment and climate action and
- advancing related objectives under the National Development Plan (NDP) and Project Ireland 2040.
The Division is also responsible for the provision of support and corporate governance oversight in respect of:
- the Housing Agency
- the Housing Finance Agency
