The Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage is committed to efficient service delivery using compliant, equitable and transparent procurement processes. These will deliver value for money for works, goods, and services in line with the National Public Procurement Policy Framework (NPPPF). The Department’s procurement rules and procedures are governed by:

• national regulations & guidelines
• internal policies and procedures.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Publication Scheme, public bodies are required to publish details of public contracts awarded over 25,000 euro (exclusive of VAT).

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Publication Scheme, public bodies are required to publish procurement related payments over 20000 euro(inclusive of VAT where appropriate), on a quarterly basis.
