Social Housing Delivery Division

This division is responsible for leading and overseeing the delivery of commitments in the Programme for Government in respect of:
- social housing delivery and
- advancing related objectives under the National Development Plan and Project Ireland 2040.
This includes increasing the social housing stock by over 50,000 over the next five years, through working with local authorities and Approved Housing Bodies to accelerate and increase the delivery of social housing homes, through a range of build, acquisition and leasing programmes, including targeting vacant properties.
The Division also has responsibility for:
- the management and oversight of the social housing budget of €2.5 billion
- reporting of housing delivery and outputs, including the further development of social reporting and data systems.
