Water Division

The Water Division is concerned with Water Sector Policy, including the implementation of sectoral reforms, the governance and funding of Irish Water and the Ervia Group, the oversight of the Group Water sector and the implementation of the Water Framework Directive.

It is also responsible for the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, the development of a marine spatial planning framework for Ireland and the foreshore legal framework.
