Conservation measures within Muckross Yew Wood – Determination on Screening for Appropriate Assessment

Woodland dominated by Yew (Taxus baccata) is one of the rarest woodland types in Europe and has priority habitat status under Annex I of the EU Habitats Directive. This project, through habitat management and the eradication of non-native invasive species aims to improve the conservation condition of the Yew Wood at Muckross, Killarney National Park SAC.
