Freshwater Pearl Mussel captive breeding programme – Determination on Screening for Appropriate Assessment

The pilot captive breeding programme is a partnership between the National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Marine Institute aiming to revitalise Freshwater Pearl Mussel populations. The programme is based at the Marine Institute's Newport Research Facility in Co. Mayo.
