Total Development Cost report

The Housing for All Total Development Cost report is a recommendation of the Housing for All Residential Construction Cost Study published in May 2023. The report provides a detailed examination of overall development costs across the four building types identified in the Residential Construction Cost report consisting of:

• Three bed semi-detached house
• Two bed suburban apartment
• Two bed urban apartment
• Purpose built student bed space
• Two bed ground floor duplex unit

The report focusses on the total development costs which incorporates hard costs i.e. construction works costs and soft costs.
