Principal Officer, Leasing and Ukraine Support Unit

The Leasing and Ukraine Support Unit has responsibility for supporting the whole of government approach being undertaken around those persons arriving in Ireland from the conflict in Ukraine. The business unit works with the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DECDIY) in supporting specific accommodation needs particularly in respect of multi-occupancy vacant properties that may be suitable and available for use as accommodation, subject to refurbishment being carried out. This includes advancement of the Refurbishment Programme, as well as budgetary oversight of multi-occupancy refurbishment projects throughout all Local Authority areas.
