Responsibility for Local Authorities pay and pensions, HR policies, including strategic workforce planning and qualifications, employment numbers and reform; State Board Liaison Officer; oversight of the LGMA, Valuation Office, Valuation Tribunal, Property Registration Authority, Ordnance Survey Ireland and Docklands Oversight and Consultative Forum; progression of the merger of the Valuation Office, Ordnance Survey Ireland and the Property Registration Authority into a single entity to be known as Tailte Éireann, including advancing the legislation required to give full effect to the merger; and supporting the implementation of the INSPIRE Directive.
