The Minister for Justice and Equality, Charlie Flanagan TD, and his colleague, the Minister of State with responsibility for Immigration, Equality and Integration, David Stanton TD, announced on 8 March 2019 that the government had approved a number of recommendations made by the Inter-Departmental Working Group on Gender Balance on State Boards to promote greater gender balance in this area.
