Director of Civil Governance

The Governance function is the oversight function for the Civil Justice Bodies under the aegis of the department. Working collaboratively, the function ensures that Bodies have a clear strategy, meet agreed standards of performance, transparency and governance, and manage their resources appropriately. The Governance function supports independent Bodies to perform effectively and adopt a consistent approach based on recognised standards, which can be tailored to each Body as appropriate to ensure clarity, fairness and accountability.
