Apply for compensation for a personal injury sustained working as a Garda

Who can apply
Members of An Garda Síochána who sustained personal injuries (that did not cause death) that were maliciously inflicted on them whilst they were performing their duties, acting in their general capacity as a member when off duty, or simply because they are a member of An Garda Síochána, can apply.
Information you will need
You will need the following information:
- name and rank of applicant (long number)
- date of retirement of applicant (if no longer serving)
- postal and email address for applicant/solicitor of applicant
- date when injuries were inflicted and details of injuries and treatment
- what form of duty was the applicant engaged when injuries were inflicted
- location and circumstances surrounding the injury
