Who can apply
This claim is open to solicitors only. The solicitor must have represented a person, who was granted legal aid, in the District Court or during an Appeal to the Circuit Court to be eligible.
Please note a claim form should be completed in respect of each certificate for free legal aid granted. For exceptions to this rule, please read the application form in full.
What you can claim for
Solicitors can claim for:
- legal fees incurred
- travel expenses
- subsistence expenses
