Dermot Sellars

Dermot Sellars has responsibility at Principal Officer level for the operations of the Communications Unit and Press Office Unit. This includes management and coordination of all media engagements undertaken by and on behalf of the Minister and officials (particularly press releases and statements) and ongoing formulation and implementation of the Department’s external communications strategy and frameworks. Additionally, the team formulates the Department’s internal communications strategy and frameworks, and manages the Department’s website, intranet and social media presence.
