Responsibility at Principal level for management of the Housing, Local Government and Heritage Vote, including advising on policy and the monitoring of public expenditure in relation to the Housing, Water Services, Local Government and other relevant programmes.

Also responsibility at Principal level for recommending approval of payments from the Central Fund in respect of certain election expenses and the preparation of the Scale of Maximum Charges for elections.
