Responsibility at Principal level for supporting the Government CIO with the implementation of Connecting Government 2030, in particular the Government as a Platform and Evolving through Innovation streams;
- Providing network innovation and consultancy.
- Supporting key strategic national programmes being undertaken by other departments and agencies;
- Leading the National Resilience and Recovery Plan Project: Using 5G technologies to Drive a Greener More Innovative Ireland project;
- The development of policies and strategies in relation to technologies and telecommunications for the public service; and EU-related initiatives.
