Mary O'Donohue

Responsibility at Director level for supporting the Government CIO with the digital transformation agenda and the development and implementation of a range of strategies including:

• Connecting Government 2030, and in particular Strengthening Digital Skills as the ICT Profession lead for the Civil Service, and Focusing on Governance and Leadership;
• Digital for Good: Ireland’s Digital Inclusion Roadmap including as a member of the Adult Literacy for Life Implementation Group and the National Literacy Coalition;
• Implementation of the EU Single Digital Gateway; leading OGCIO’s client organisation engagement including oversight and approval of ICT and digital initiatives across the Public Service and the Peer Review process; supporting digital service delivery and innovation initiatives across the Public Service through the development and application of a range of ICT policies and advice;
• Representing the Government CIO on relevant programme boards for strategic initiatives and in engagements with EU and other international organisations.
