Responsibility at Principal level for Public Service Transformation Policy.

Leading the Public Service Transformation Policy Office to:

• deliver a new policy direction for Public Service Transformation
• establish a policy development framework to strengthen the coordinated approach to policy-making from the centre of government
• build a strategic foresight and anticipatory innovationsystem across the Public Service
• conduct a review of the impact of both COVID-19 and BREXIT on the structure, design and operating environment of the Civil Service
• manage Ireland’s participation in the Open Government Partnership, including the creation and monitoring of National Action Plans
• drive the Open Data programme and lead to development of a new Open Data Strategy
• to deliver a Public Service Transformation policy communications and outreach programme
• monitor and track progress across the transformation programme

The team also has responsibility for the Public Governance Committee of the OECD, Ireland’s participation in the OECD Trust Survey and as the National Contact Point for OPSI.
