The list of departments below have bodies and funds under their aegis that are required to prepare accounts.
If you click on a department, it will bring you to a table on the department’s website that shows the period to which the last audited financial statements relate and the date on which they were presented to the Oireachtas for each body and fund under its aegis as well as a hyperlink to the latest audited financial statements. For completeness, it also includes a small number of bodies that are not required to lay their accounts before the Oireachtas.
The audited Appropriation Accounts of Central Government Departments and Offices themselves are published on the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General’s website. The latest financial statements for the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission are available on the Oireachtas website.
This is a new register and the information is being brought up to date to reflect the latest audited financial statements presented to the Oireachtas Library.
