The Work and Pensions Division is responsible for:
- development of the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES) and management of the DPER IGEES Unit;
- Vote expenditure management (Education; Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (FHERIS);
- Social Protection and Superannuation and Retired Allowances);
- oversight, development and implementation of Public Service pensions policy (Single Public Service Pension scheme, Actuarial Service and Pensions Policy).
The Division monitors expenditure and provides policy advice through its IGEES unit, Votes and pensions policy units.
