The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage have entered into a Data Sharing Agreement under the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 with the National Museum of Ireland in advance of issuing Consents for works to a national monument. The Director of the National Museum of Ireland is a statutory consultee in relation to Ministerial Consents, as provided under section 14 of the National Monuments Act 1930 as amended by section 5 of the National Monuments (Amendment) Act 2004.
This Data Sharing Agreement covers sharing of Personal Data, in limited circumstances, by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage with the National Museum of Ireland. The data sharing activity may include such personal data elements as names, addresses and contact details of the applicant and of the landowner; purpose and description of proposed works.
