Data Sharing Agreement for LEO Suite of Services Data - EILAS 018_211122

Enterprise Ireland have entered into a Data Sharing Agreement under the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 with all Local Authorities for Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Suite of Services Data.

This data sharing agreement covers the sharing of data between Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Offices in each Local Authority. The sharing of data is necessary for the provision of the Local Enterprise Office suite of services which are delivered in partnership between Enterprise Ireland and the Local Authorities, to ensure coordinated and cohesive development of micro-enterprise in Ireland which contributes to economic growth and job creation in all of the regions.

The LEOs are part of Enterprise Ireland’s strategy to deliver entrepreneurship, support micro-enterprises and promote a pro-enterprise environment at local level, in association with the Local Authorities.

Enterprise Ireland owns and provides access to a number of the IT systems which facilitate the operation of the Local Enterprise Offices within the Local Authorities.
