Project Title: Healthcare Drone Delivery

The objective of this project is to examine the optimisation of medical service support through the application of drone technology. It will develop a state-of-the-art solution using delivery drones creating a point to point, on demand delivery service streamlining medical delivery, expanding patient capacity, reducing overcrowding in overworked A&Es, slashing carbon footprints, and improving healthcare outcomes for patients.
Intended outcomes:
1. Complete a full risk analysis of the chosen air corridor(s), community engagement, and a full review of how the propose service integrates with healthcare providers at both the launch and landing sites.
2. Develop a full flight implementation and pilot management plan in collaboration with Irish Aviation Authority.
3. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions up to 95% compared to other forms of transport strategies currently in use.
4. Improved patient outcomes by accelerating testing results and expanding capacity at rural health clinics and hospitals.
