Volunteer Ireland Awards 2021

Nominations are now open for the Volunteer Ireland Awards 2021.

Strategic Objective 3 of the National Volunteering Strategy (2021 - 2025) aims to to recognise, celebrate and communicate the value and impact of volunteers and volunteering in all its forms.

The Strategy wants all who volunteer to know their contribution is appreciated and valued. It wants to ensure that volunteering is celebrated for its vital contribution to Irish society, developing communities as vibrant, inclusive and sustainable places where people want to live.

The awards take place every autumn with people from all over Ireland nominating their neighbours, family, friends, colleagues and community supporters for the chance to win a Volunteer Ireland Award.

Anyone can nominate a volunteer, someone they know who gives their time and energy voluntarily and without pay.

To nominate an individual volunteer, groups of volunteers and/or a volunteer manager, go to Volunteer.ie

This year nominations are open to October 17th 2021.
