Statement of Strategy 2025-2028 - Call for submissions

The Department of Rural and Community Development, and the Gaeltacht is currently preparing a new Statement of Strategy to cover the period 2025-2028.

This important document will set out the strategic vision of the Department as we look to build upon the progress made since our establishment in 2017.

Commitments made in the Programme for Government - Securing Ireland’s Future, in addition to Government’s 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030; Our Rural Future; Sustainable, Inclusive and Empowered Communities and other relevant policies will inform the development of our Statement of Strategy.

As part of the consultation process, you are invited to express your views which will further inform the development of our next Statement of Strategy.

Submissions

Submissions should be emailed to coordination@drcd.gov.ie with “Statement of Strategy 2025-2028 ” in the subject line.

The closing date for receipt of submissions is 5pm on Friday 25th April.

Freedom of Information

Please note that it is intended that all submissions received will be made available under the Freedom of Information Acts and as such may be published on our website following the publication of the Statement of Strategy.
